On Thursday, we will be under the influence of a low-pressure system slowly approaching from Western Europe. During this time, a föhn wind from the south will continue to prevail, which means that the lifting processes triggered by the low will likely only lead to the formation of showers and thunderstorms in the second half of the day. The föhn air and the interim improvement will once again cause a rise in temperature on the northern side of the Alps. Heading into Friday, the föhn-like south wind will abate, and we will be under the influence of a low-pressure zone. Consequently, heavier showers are possible both time-wise and region-wise. It will noticeably cool down. The further development still needs to be awaited. From today's perspective, the weather over the Pentecost weekend will be nicer and warmer everywhere. Truly beautiful and one hundred percent stable spring weather is quite unlikely to settle in.
